TERMS
I am happy to have an initial call or meeting with a prospective client (up to one hour) and to draft a proposal/agreement regarding a work plan.
- Work is billed at the hourly rate in fifteen-minute increments, invoiced in accordance with schedule set by a contract OR at logical points for an ongoing engagement.
- Payment is due upon receipt.
- A signed contract and specified retainer are required to commence work.
- Either party can terminate in accordance with contractual agreement.
- Travel expenses are charged outside the Western Massachusetts region and may include lodging, transportation and incidentals if overnight travel is required.
RATES:
We may work together on an hourly basis or on a project-rate basis. This will depend on the type of work/project and will be reflected in a mutually agreed upon contract.
I work primarily with non-profit organizations, but also provide services to both government and for-profits.
I offer a sliding scale range in acknowledgment of an organization’s means. Variance in rates for an organization are informed by several factors including local norms, organizational budget, type of organization and duration/complexity of project. Additional discounts may be provided if deemed reasonable and appropriate.
Non-Profit rates: $100-150/hour
Government rates: $100-150/hour
For Profit rates: $150 - $175/hour
